One of the staples of fan-dedication culture, especially oshikatsu, is a little plush of your favorite character(s), also called a nui. Often times, this plush will be taken out to eat at cute locations, given photo shoots and new outfits, and generally cherished! In certain cases, the plushies can be bought. Other times, they are made by the fan!
I have made 2 small Esteban plushies by this point, and am currently working on a third which I believe to be quite the step up from the previous 2! Where the previous two were made without a pattern and did not follow dimensions typical for these plushies (Which are fun to follow, because it allows me to buy accessories for him), the third is being made using the
NUNU-chan pattern by NuiPatternShop on Etsy! I am using minky fabric for the base and hair, and an assortment of scrap fabrics for his outfits. His face is embroidered by hand, and I'm excited to share pictures when I feel he is ready to be shown!
